Repotation: National Seminar and Congress XXV of PFI 2019
Several lecturers and students of the Plant Protection Department participated in the National Seminar and XXV Congress of the Indonesian Phytopathology Association (PFI) in Banjar Baru - South Kalimantan. The theme carried at the PFI XXV seminar and congress is "Phytopathology Moves to Support Food Safety by Paying Attention to the Function of Environmental Conservation". The National Seminar and PFI XXV congress were organized by PFI Komda South Kalimantan.
The event was attended by representatives of various universities that are members of the Fitopatologi Association throughout Indonesia, in addition to this event was also attended by government agencies, companies, students, NGOs, mass media, and the general public who loves agriculture.
PTN lecturers and students participating in this event included Prof. Sri Hendrastuti Hidayat, Dr. Tri Asmira Damayanti, Dr. Abdjad Asih Nawangsih, while the students who were present consisted of Undergraduate and Postgraduate students including Ni Wayan Kartika, S.P, Miftakhurohmah, S.P, M.Sc, and Khoiratul Afifah S.P, Dwi Subekti, S.P, M.Si, Dr. Heri Harti, the PTN delegation delivered an oral presentation of the results of his research, and one of the PTN delegates, namely Ni Wayan Kartika, SP who was guided by Fitrianingrum Kurniawaty, SP, M.Si received an award as "Best Young Researcher in Mycorrhiza-Nematology" for presentations entitled "Root Gall Nematodes (Meloidogyne spp.) on Beet Plants (Beta vulgaris) in Cipanas District, Bogor Regency - West Java"
