CV Clinic: "Preparing your CV for Work and Postgraduate Studies with Mukhlis Jamal"

Applying for jobs or preparing for postgraduate studies is often a challenge, the Plant Protection Department collaborates with Cambridge University, and the Indonesian Entomology Association (PEI) to hold a CV Clinic which is expected to help students effectively demonstrate their academic achievements, research experience and skills to potential employers, academic institutions, or research collaborators. A well-crafted CV not only highlights academic qualifications but also showcases interests, relevant courses, and extracurricular activities, thereby increasing competitiveness in the job market or graduate school applications.

This CV Clinic is mentored by Mukhish Jamal Musa Holle, M.Env.Sc., MBA, D.Phil. who is the recipient of a full scholarship for three postgraduate positions at three of the world's top universities, he explained how to create an attractive and targeted CV.

PTN Talk and Sharing: "Knowledge Sharing on Experiences of Studying Postgraduate Abroad"

Monday 29 April 2024. Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture - IPB University, in collaboration with Cambridge University and the Indonesian Entomology Association (PEI) held a PTN Talk and Sharing session with two postgraduate students from Cambridge University and one Gadjah Mada University staff who were carrying out post-doctoral program. This PTN Talk is entitled "Knowledge Sharing on Experiences of Studying Postgraduate Abroad".

Visiting Scholar Seminar Cambridge:

Monday, April 29 2024. The Department of Plant Protection welcomed two visiting scholar guests from Cambridge University who were conducting research collaborations. In conjunction with this research collaboration activity, the two guests were invited to conduct a seminar entitled Visiting Scholar Seminar: "Impact of Riparian Restoration in Oil Palm Landscape on Insect Pest and Pollination" where PTN invited the Indonesian Entomology Association (PEI) and Cambridge University as collaborators to carry out this Visiting Scholar Seminar activity. The two guests are postgraduate students in the Insect Ecology Research Laboratory – Department of Zoology - Cambridge University. Godspower Ogheneogaga Major was the first guest to present material entitled "Insect Pest on the riparian restoration in oil palm landscape". The second guest was Daniel Lim who presented material entitled "Pollination on the riparian restoration in oil palm landscape".
