To develop agricultural entomology, plant pathology, rodentology, technology and science in plant protection to support sustainable agriculture.

Our instructional goals is to provide superior education in plant health management in order to provide students with the skills and knowledge for identification, analyzing, and solving plant pest and disease problems. Our graduates should have good communication, data management, and information technology skill.
Our research goals is to understand basic and applied agricultural knowledge related to plant health management in order to provide effective approach to apply environmentally-friendly plant protection technologies.
Our extension and outreach goals is to provide educational and research linkages to farmers and general public that foster a better understanding of plant health management.
